Those 6.9 billion people are scattered into 4,300 metropolises, 21 mega cities, towns and villages all over the planet. One out of seven people in the world go to bed hungry every night. One-third of the world is starving. Much of the rest of the world lives with emptiness and meaninglessness.
Globally the world lives under a tyranny of terror. Threats of nuclear and biological terrorism are a real and frightening possibility. The global economy has reached such a level of interdependence that a severe downturn in one country can affect economic security in another overnight. Modern business leaders are now expected to peer into the turbulent economic future and make necessary adjustments to avoid disaster for their companies. The digitalized nature of this century has created increasing expectations among people we are called upon to lead, making this unrelenting advance of communication technology both a blessing and a curse. While the Information Age has given leaders many new tools with which to lead, it has also placed heavy demands on leaders, demands previous generations of leaders never faced.
We look to many places of the world and definitely see God at work! We see Him working and moving in unprecedented ways in places like Latin America, parts of Asia, especially Indonesia and the Philippines, and parts of Africa. The epicenter of Christianity is definitely moving south into the Southern Hemisphere. However, in many countries the Church is being persecuted and is trying to survive in a hostile environment. In the developed countries, the Church finds itself increasingly marginalized and alienated from society. North America seems to be one of the few places in the world where the Church at large is not growing………………….”

Atât de uşor se frâng oamenii. Atăt de fragilă e puterea noastră. Mâinile lui Dumnezeu suntem noi. Nu zdrobiţi, nu frângeţi, nu stingeţi ce încă mai fumegă. Alinaţi şi mângâiaţi pe cei ce suferă. Nu pentru că merită ci pentru că sunteţi mâinile Lui pentru cei înfrânţi de viaţă.
Dar iubiţi înţelept! Iubiţi cu Adevărul, iubiţi cu tăcerea ca prietenii lui Iov. Iubiţi rugăndu-vă şi tăind calea celor ce vor să găsească o margine de prăpastie de pe care să se arunce. Ieşiţi-le înainte şi spuneţi-le că există speranţă…! O nădejde care se numeşte Isus Hristos!

People break so easily. So fragile is our strength. We are God’s hands. Do not crush, do not tear, do not extinguish what still smoldering. Soothe and comfort those who suffer. Not because they deserve but for being His hands for those defeated by life.
Also, love wisely! Really loved, loved with silence that Job’s friends. Love praying and cutting way for those who want to find a cliff edge from where to jump. Get them before and tell them that there is hope …! A hope that is called Jesus Christ!

Obama, Romney spar over taxes, jobs plans at first presidential debate
The debate, which focused exclusively on domestic matters, was heavy on policy details and light on zingers. Their first debate, though tense at times with the candidates standing just feet from each other and often cutting off the moderator, marked a step back from what has become a bitter and nasty campaign in the closing weeks.
Each candidate came armed with studies and stats to bolster his respective positions – but the central goal was to broaden their appeal before a national audience hurting for jobs, and make the case for why their plans would boost job growth.
The two candidates debate next on Oct. 16 and for the last time on Oct. 22.
The only vice presidential debate is set for Oct. 11.
